Allyson Felix, born November 18, 1985, is an American track and field player competing for the U.S. in dozens of athletic events, including the Olympics, World Championships, World Indoor Championships, and the Diamond League. There are 21 gold and six silver and three bronze medals in her sporting career. Felix is a sprint specialist, which she began when in 9th grade. Sprinter Allyson Michelle Felix is among track and field's most decorated athletes. Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix was ordained as a minister through the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix was a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed a flair for sport early in her life, and was able to discover her ability to sprint when she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first tryout and she finished in 2nd spot in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship.
